The application is developed by OUH Odense University Hospital – Svendborg Hospital in collaboration with CCR Centre for Clinical Robotics, CIMT Centre for Innovative Medical Technology and Nordic Robotics. Meditek now owns the solution for integration at other hospitals in Denmark and abroad.
The solution has made the collection of medical equipment for outpatient groups much easier, faster and much more flexible. Previously, this could take up to 40 minutes from arrival at OUH. It has now been optimized to just 7 minutes on average with the following service improvements:
- Dedicated parking spaces targeted at outpatients close to the entrance
- Collection for 22 out of 24 hours a day
- Possibility of collection outside normal working hours
- The mobile parcel boxes free up time for staff for other tasks, because the parcel box comes to them.
- The solution is very scalable and available for other hospitals.
